What are the side effects of Naglazyme®?
Any side effects are usually experienced during administration. The most common symptoms are fever, chills, rigors, headache, rash, and mild itching. Other side effects may occur. Prior to the infusion, patients should receive antihistamines, with or without antipyretics.
How is Naglazyme administered?
Naglazyme is given intravenously on a weekly basis. The infusion should last no less than 4 hours. If you miss an infusion, contact your doctor or pharmacist to reschedule.
How long do I need to take Naglazyme?
The course of treatment is determined by your doctor.
How do I store Naglazyme?
Store Naglazyme in the refrigerator, but do not freeze it. Because this medication contains no preservatives, you should use it immediately after dilution. Do not mix it before establishing access to a vein.
