Rebif® (interferon beta-1a) – ACCREDO SERVICES

Overview | Product Information | Accredo Services | Contact Team

Accredo’s Multiple Sclerosis Therapeutic Resource Center is a team of specialty-trained pharmacists focused on serving physicians and their patients. Our pharmacists regularly contact patients to help them manage their medications and identify issues with their care before they become a problem. The pharmacists and nurses at Accredo also coordinate with physician offices regarding any changes in therapy, acting as a team member in the patient’s ongoing care.

Accredo works with all the major healthcare providers to get medication coverage for patients. If Accredo cannot get approval for the medication, Accredo will refer the patient to an in-network pharmacy that can fill the prescription. Our intake team will also work to find the most affordable option for the patient’s medication. Often, a 90-day supply will save money on co-payments over the course of a year.

New patients will be counseled by our clinical staff on how to use and store the medication properly. From then on, Accredo clinicians will act as a continuing resource for the patient, helping with therapy issues that the patient may encounter, such as how to avoid adverse reactions.

Accredo also makes delivery of the medication as convenient as possible. Accredo will schedule expedited delivery of the medication to the patient’s work, home, or other location so that the patient does not have to wait in line at a retail location. Additionally, our customer service representatives will call to remind the patient when it is time to reorder to help prevent an interruption in therapy.

Our pharmacists and clinicians are available by phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to answer any questions about the multiple sclerosis therapies.

If you have any questions, please contact Accredo Multiple Sclerosis team.
