Naglazyme® (galsulfase)
NAGLAZYME is the first specific treatment for MPS VI. NAGLAZYME treats MPS VI by replacing the enzyme that is lacking, arylsulfatase B. NAGLAZYME reduces the excess carbohydrates (GAG) that build up in cells and cause the symptoms of MPS VI. NAGLAZYME has been shown to improve walking and stair-climbing capacity.
