As the exclusive provider of Cystadane, Accredo’s dedicated Cystadane team offers the following services:
Reimbursement services
- Benefits research services, with an explanation to the patient or patient’s caregiver of any financial responsibility he/she may have
- Prior authorization determination
- Most health plans serviced, with triage services automatically provided if Accredo cannot service a particular patient
Pharmacy services
- Counseling sessions with patient or patient’s caregiver to encourage a deeper understanding of the therapy, which helps improve adherence and persistency
- Regular phone calls to schedule refills, answer questions, and encourage proper usage
- Specialty-trained pharmacists and registered nurses who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist in managing critical aspects of care
Delivery services
- Packaging and handling protocols designed to maintain product integrity
- Careful tracking of each prescription delivery
- Convenient delivery to the site of administration
