Actimmune is currently approved for the following indications:

Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a rare, inherited deficiency of the immune system that leaves patients vulnerable to frequent and severe bacterial and fungal infections. These infections often require hospitalization and can be fatal.

Osteopetrosis is a life-threatening congenital disorder in which an overgrowth of bony structures leads to blindness, deafness, and increased susceptibility to infection. In the most serious form, most patients become blind or anemic by 6 months of age and die within the first 10 years of life, frequently in the first 2 years.
